Sawyer May is a native of San Luis Obispo County and joined Point Sur Advisors in 2023. He works in a supporting role to the advisor and office operations. He is currently studying for his securities license exams. Following graduation from Arroyo Grande High School, he attended Lewis & Clark College as an undergraduate for a year before transferring to Arizona State University (ASU). He earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy & Public Health in 2021 from ASU. Following college, Sawyer exceled as a business development representative for a hospitality technology company working with local business owners in San Luis Obispo to improve operations. He enjoys a wide variety of sports and hobbies including basketball, snowboarding, and surfing during his free time.
